Cambodia-Brunei Boost Cooperation in Employment and Human Resource Training

PHNOM PENH: Cambodia and Brunei have agreed to strengthen cooperation on human resource training by providing professional technical scholarships and student exchange programs to strengthen the capacity of technical students of both countries.

On January 23, Minister of Labor Heng Sour met with Brunei Ambassador Pengiran Kasmirhan bin Pengiran Haji Tahir to promote and support labor cooperation at the bilateral and ASEAN levels.

The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation on human resource training through the provision of scholarships at the technical level to Cambodian students and cooperation through student-to-student exchange programs. They also agreed to training programs between professional institutions of Brunei and Cambodia to promote and strengthen the capacity of technical studies in both countries.

The Minister of Labor thanked the Royal Government of Brunei for its cooperation in all fields and for being a good friend in the ASEAN region.
